Kensington Cat and Dog Home [SPEC PIECE]

Company Background: Founded in 1901, the Kensington Cat and Dog Home has helped over three million animals. They welcome any cat or dog in need, providing medical treatment and rehabilitation, as well as arranging temporary foster care and permanent re-homing for the animals in their care. The organization is funded entirely by donations and fundraising and receives no support from the government. Unlike some animal non-profits, Kensington Cat and Dog Home will not put any healthy animal to sleep.

Purpose: To recruit recurring monthly donors and increase the number of monthly donors by 5% each month.

Audience: The usual donors are men and women aged over 50. They are often business owners or recently retired. They are animal lovers, have at least one dog or cat, and have kept pets most of their lives. Unfortunately, they’re unable to take in any other animal at the moment but would like to do what they can to support the non-profit’s work.

About Kensington Cat and Dog Home
Our
Story
Kensington has served furry friends in need since 1901. We welcome any dog or cat that may cross our threshold and provide a soft landing until they find their forever home.

We've had many a paw walk through our doors and plan to see many more in the future. So far, we've served over 3 million animals over the years, and it's the people in this community that have supported us in reaching all of our past and present achievements.

As a non-profit, we don't receive government assistance. We are solely able to do what we do because of the kindness and generosity of our donors. While this may come with its challenges, we value how connected and grounded this keeps us to our community.

Make a Difference in Their Lives.
What We Do
We welcome stray, abandoned, and injured cats and dogs with open arms, ready to provide any needed medical treatment or rehabilitation they may need.
The compassion and care don't stop at physical needs; we organize temporary foster care for each resident with the goal of finding each one a forever home.

It's also our belief that we do not euthanize any healthy animal and aim to give them the most comfortable and kind experiences we can while they are with us.
How We Do It
We're only able to give comfort, love, and a full belly to each one of our residents with your help. You are as much a part of this family as each set of paws, and every donation of time or resources is appreciated beyond measure.
We hold regular fundraisers throughout the year. However, monthly donations are pivotal to our four-legged residents. It takes a village of all kinds to support our kind of organization, and no contribution is too small, nor does it go unnoticed.

We couldn't do it without you. Over 3 million animals served since 1901.
